This is such a beautifully composed reflection on what many describe but few actually live — the inexhaustible nature of true creative source. The distinction between consuming content and accessing generative stillness was especially resonant. That quiet place beneath striving isn’t just poetic — it’s structurally different. Once you’ve lived from that well, the idea of “running out” becomes irrelevant.

I appreciate how you wove the paradox of emptiness and fullness throughout both Lao Tzu and Erdrich’s narrative. Infinite isn’t metaphor here — it’s mechanical. And creativity that flows from this place doesn’t drain you. It stabilizes you.

Such a great reminder that the Universe is always giving/providing whether we notice it or not.

I started writing a piece in response to the second prompt (the wellspring) about a recurring dream I used to have in which there was a hidden bank full of valuables under the floorboards of my bedroom closet. In this writing piece I am making that dream come true. So fun!
