I am sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. Mindfulness helps at all times, even at the toughest, to stay in the now, to be aware, acknowledge, and accept emotions, and feel interconnected with the world. Your title carries the idea of power of gratitude.
Ah Amanda, I am so sorry to hear how ill your sister-in-law is, and also how your well deserved and much needed holiday in Greece had to be curtailed. Even though you know you did the "right" thing in coming home early, this doesn't factor into that part of you that needs deep rest in the warm sun. There is really nothing much to say here except that I am sorry about it all and just hope that you will find inner peace and a sense of restedness through your mindful practices. Not at all easy or simple to do, but sometimes I catch glimpses of joy resting alongside restlessness, unease, and pain.
Sending warm and sunny thoughts and loving kindness to you and your sister-in-law. I appreciate your mindfulness practice and I do the same. Surrendering to what is, “It’s like this” helps to ease suffering ♥️🙏🏼🕊
I’m sorry to hear about your sister-in-law, Amanda and your shortened trip to Greece. We need the sunshine, the warmth, and we also need to be with our struggling family members. It’s both. I guess, for me, knowing that I often have to be with opposites like this helps. I’m mindful of holding them both, and that it’s not easy.
Thanks Emily. Yes, we have to be with opposites all the time. Sometimes easier to bear than others. We do need sunshine and warmth. And I will have it again one day!
Thanks Anna. Yes it’s tough but mindfulness and community makes all the difference.

Thank you, Terje. Yes it does help at all times and has completely changed my way of being in the world.

Thanks Edith. I am ok. Tired, worried, and withered, but ok!

Thanks Camilla. Yes, that surrender really does make all the difference.
I'm very sorry to hear how ill your sister-in-law is, how incredibly hard for everyone concerned... I'm glad the mindfulness is resourcing you.
Thanks Lizzie. Yes it is very hard but the mindfulness is really helping.
Sending you and your family love. I admire that you’re able to be present and positive during such a difficult time!
Thank you, Stephanie. It took me a long time to get here! But I’m impressed I can do this too. Mindfulness…it’s a life changer!
