Thank you for sharing this Amanda! Trust is a beautiful word. I especially liked what you said about the characters learning to trust themselves above all else. It reminds me of The Heroes Journey, and how it isn’t about where they go or what they acquire along the way, but who they become. In recent years as I’ve moved through life I’ve noticed that each situation has been an opportunity to deepen my faith in not only myself, but life itself. The infinite intelligence that is behind it all, that we are all a part of. The very thing that makes an oak tree from an acorn, and that makes us who we become right from the beginning. Recognising this, I’ve realised my role then is to trust that IT knows what it is doing and to learn to be ok being me and not needing to have all of the answers all of the time

Thanks for your message, Vipul. I too have come to understand the need to trust in IT and I’m still working on that. Some days it’s easy, some days it’s not!

It is a journey of ups and downs, twists and turns. Definitely not linear! I think you may resonate with this piece I wrote: https://soulwisdom.substack.com/p/sharpening-your-faith

Thank you, Vipul. It’s beautiful and I definitely feel I was meant to read this now. I’m very glad to have connected with you here.

And I used the Aristotle quote:

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.”

At the start of my last novel that came out in 2019!

Oh I love the way that your word isn't just about what happens in your own life but a lens for understanding your characters better!
