Thanks, Amanda. I'll be sure to check out your reads. I am not familiar with any but Wild. My current stack includes mostly books I feel the need to reread. They are touchstones I go back to periodically - Pāramī, Ways to Cross Life's Floods, by Ajahn Sucitto (about the Buddhist 10 perfections); Jesus and the Disinherited, by Howard Thurman (one of Martin Luther King Jr.'s touchstones). Living Buddha, Living Christ, by Thich Nhat Hanh (I find it helps me bridge conversations with my Christian neighbors), and The Accomplice, by Lisa Lutz (a fictional mystery - I call these books by guilty pleasure - and describe them as in one eye and out the other - LOL)
Thanks for sharing your reads, Paula. I’ve not read any of these so will add them to my very long reading list! I’m a big re-reader and always have been. Always get something different the next time.
Bless you, Amanda, thank you for the recommendation. And you’ve reminded me again that I must get around to Educated!
I've been meaning to read Yuknavich for ages, thank you for the reminder 🤓
It’s great!

Agree about getting something different... How could we not? New experiences create new vistas of life, including the books we've read. : )
