Writing stories of connection really matters right now
Use your words to spread love, compassion and togetherness
Want to be happier in your writing and craft stories of love, compassion and connection?
Stories that bring us all closer together again are vital right now. There is so much division, despair and anger in our world and as writers, I truly believe we have a big part to play in working to change that. Our words matter. Our ideas matter. Our stories matter.
This doesn’t mean we can’t write about difficult things. One of the biggest lessons that living a mindful life has taught me is that there will always be suffering, just as there will always be joy. It’s about how we write about the suffering and the joy, it’s about the ways in which we portray characters who behave hurtfully, and it’s about the beliefs we hold about ourselves and our craft. It’s about the intention behind the stories we tell.
Which is why, I am so excited that my Mindful Fiction Course is now available on my new website. I wrote this course after my relationship with my craft was transformed. It’s all about who we are as writers as well as what we’re writing.
You get lifetime access to work through the 6-workshops in your own time to transform your relationship with your writing and the kinds of stories you tell.
What writers say about working with me
I have been working with writers for almost 20 years now and over the past few years, I have been taking my teaching and writing in a new mindful direction and I’m so happy that it is resonating with others.
“Amanda's Mindful Writing Course has encouraged me to find joy and connection with my writing in ways I haven't experienced before." - Fiona
“Amanda motivates you to develop a kind of courage that takes you deep inside yourself — to the place where your characters and their stories live and breathe.” - Loretta
I hope you’ll join me to mindfully develop your craft to write more stories that unite rather than divide. Let’s use our words to spread LOVE and understanding of our common humanity. Just because we believe different things, come from different places, and have different hopes and dreams, it doesn't mean we can’t show compassion and understanding for all. We can! Let’s do it!
With love,
Amanda, We are cut from the same clothe. I wish you all the best. D
blessings for your class and sharing your wisdom :)
