Hello friends,
I hope you have had a peaceful and relaxing time over the festive season and wish you all good things for the coming year.
It’s almost one year since I started The Mindful Writer and I’ve enjoyed writing it so much. I keep adapting as I go along and there are some changes from now on.
I want to connect more closely with a community of writers who are hoping to develop a more mindful writing practice and life. I want to share more of my own practice and life and I feel that is best suited to a more personal space. I want us to support each other more fully to develop our craft and bring more peace, love and unity into the world. You might think I’m a dreamer (many people do!), but I really believe we can make a difference with the stories we write and publish.
All of my posts were free to everyone in 2023 (and the entire archive will remain so) but more of them are now going to be for paid subscribers only. I really appreciate everyone who subscribes and reads my words and will still share posts for all.
My paid subscribers will get all of my weekly posts, plus a 10% discount on 1-1 mentoring (or a mentoring session included for Founding Members), and additional fortnightly writing craft posts and readings related to the monthly theme. They will also be able to comment on all posts and share ideas and work they create.
I will also pick a name out of a hat each month for one paid subscriber to send a piece of writing to me for detailed developmental feedback.
All of my posts are driven by the Slow Writing ethos and designed to make us dig deeper when we write. You can write as much or as little as you like from each prompt and return to them time and again.
So if you’re looking to make a deeper connection to your craft, yourself and the people and world around you. I hope you’ll join me for a new year of more mindful writing and living.
With love,
I hope your new year is filled with wonder and joy. And best wishes for your new endeavors Amanda
Many thanks, Mark. I hope the same for you 🙏💙
