Coming to the Mindful Writer in 2025
More in depth mindful writing posts, more ideas for living and writing mindfully, more community connections.
Hi mindful writing friend,
Thanks for being here and reading my work. I want to make sure that I bring you even more mindful living and writing ideas in the coming year that can help us use our words for a force of good in the world. So I am introducing a new schedule and some new features. All of my free posts are remaining free and will publish on a Monday and there will be an additional post once a month for paid members that will publish on the first Friday of each month, starting in February. There will also be a monthly round-up sent on the last Saturday of each month.
Starting in late Spring when I get settled into my new home, I will start to run monthly Zoom workshops connected to each month’s theme. I can’t wait to bring you all of this! In the meantime, join me and lots of other mindful writers for the Mindful Writing Festival. I’ll be joined by , , , , , and for an inspiring day dedicated to mindfully developing our craft.

The Writing Sanctuary
Brand new this year for paid members of The Mindful Writer, this series brings in elements of my Year of Mindful Writing and Well Writer courses along with brand new content. These in-depth posts will help you dig deeper into who you are as a writer and a human, what you’re writing for, and share ideas on how you can live and write with more compassion and joy, and less fear and judgement. They’ll help you connect more deeply to yourself, your writing craft, and everyone and everything you’re sharing this human experience with.
It will publish once a month on the first Friday of the month.
Discovering Mindful Writers
This hugely popular interview series will be carrying on and guests are already booked in up until the Autumn. It will publish on the first Monday of every month. Want to appear? Get in touch and let me know.
Mindful Monday Writing Prompts
This brand-new feature will publish on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Each post will combine mindful living and writing recommendations along with associated writing prompts to get you exploring different aspects of your life and writing craft.
Personal Essays
A mix of memoir and current happenings in my ongoing journey of mindful living and writing. Publishes on the third Monday of the month.
Guest Posts
Whenever I have guest posts, these will publish on the third Friday of the month. Want to share a story? Pitch me your idea here.
